OUR NATURE - OUR FUTURE
Our NATURE-Our FUTURE program aims to educate children, students, and young adults about the importance of nature conservation and eco-friendly lifestyle choices. As for the Generation Z and younger, the biggest challenge for humanity in their time will be solving climate change, biodiversity loss, and the extinction crisis. The program aims to introduce these important topics to students and young adults at secondary and tertiary education levels so that eco-friendly lifestyles will become highly entrenched in their mindset since at a young age.
The first educational talk is held at International School Yangon in early February 2021. Young students from Grade 6 and Grade 7 were actively involved in learning why saving Irrawaddy Dolphins is important and what kind of lifestyle changes they can incorporate into their daily lives to develop eco-friendly habits.
